POP/CDL EXAMINATIONS

 COMING SOON

If you are completing your Provisional Operator’s Permit (POP) or Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Premier Urgent Care can help you get  necessary paperwork completed.

Physical exams are required by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) if your job meets certain criteria, such as:

  • Driving a vehicle for compensation that is designed to carry more than eight people (regardless of how many people actually ride in the vehicle at once)

  • Driving a vehicle designed to carry more than 15 people (regardless of how many people actually ride in the vehicle at once, and even without direct compensation)

  • Driving a vehicle on the interstate that surpasses stringent weight ratings

  • Carrying hazardous materials in your vehicle

These requirements are in place to keep you and the general public safe. If you are not physically and mentally capable, you would be a danger to yourself and others if you were to operate a commercial vehicle.

Our physicians are certified by the FMCSA to perform these examinations in accordance with applicable state laws and regulations. With Premier Urgent Care, you are in exceptional hands.
